  The only reason I am not giving this location 1 star is because we had a great tour of the facility from Jane. She was exceptional. However, the way the other leasing agent handled our situation was below expectations for a luxury apartment in Las Colinas. We were told that we would get a free month on a vacant 2 bedroom apartment. However since we wanted to book so early, we were told we would not get the special since the apartment was not vacated yet. We were willing to move in a week after it was vacated and that would have been ample time for Monterra to make ready the apartment we wanted. In sense, it would have been vacant and we would have filled it almost immediately, keeping a flow of revenue. Since this was not the case, we took our business and made a new home just down the street at a brand new facility for approximately the same price and with more amenities. They also gave us 6 weeks free and a $1000 visa gift card. How does Monterra expect to compete with an apartment like that? It has been 3 weeks since our desired move in date and the same apartment we had wanted is still on the market. It goes to show that holding our your special because you believe you would make more money or whatever reason has backfired. I am enjoying my new apartment that is not at Monterra and am glad that Monterra was able to show me they were not the place for me.
